Fancy your chances?

Come and play friendly, informal chess with us — right in the heart of Ripon. Everyone is welcome, any age or ability. Bring your own set if you like, but there are usually spare boards available.

We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. in The Portly Pig, Kirkgate, Ripon HG4 1PA. Ask at the bar if you are unsure where the action is! Map

On the last Wednesday of each month, we have a competition to crown the Pig of the Month. The trophy could be your pride and joy for a whole month! Just turn up and beat this guy!
